Don McDermott is one of 6 Skagit county officials that have 152 claims against their official bonds.

McDermott has been the sheriff of Skagit county for the past 4 years.

McDermott was sworn in as sheriff swearing an oath to the Skagit County voters that he would uphold the Constitution. He has violated his oath of office. RCW 29A.56.110

The sheriff’s duty (1) Shall arrest and commit to prison all persons who break the peace, or attempt to break it, and all persons guilty of public offenses, Article 11, § 5 of the Washington State Constitution Amendment 12.

Among many events that McDermott refused to act upon was the breaking and entering of a residence that included theft and vandalism, where McDermott’s office colluded with out-of-state parties to facilitate this crime. The local criminal was known to McDermott and he refused to arrest the criminal or file a report of a crime by the victim RCW 36.28.011, Duty to make a complaint. McDermott, the New Hampshire resident, and the Skagit criminal worked a pattern and practice in concert to perform numerous crimes, 18 U.S.C. §§ 1961-68 RICO- Racketeering, RCW 9A.82.060, RCW 9A.56.030-theft and robbery 1st degree, RCW 9A.48.070- Malicious mischief in the first degree, and violated the Skagit County Resident’s 4th Amendment right that was violated by all 3 criminals.

McDermott posted a public statement that he would not accept any further Notices of crime for election integrity issues. local- RCW 42.17A.005 No state (or local) officer or state employee may use or authorize the use of facilities of an agency, directly or indirectly, for the purpose of assisting a campaign for the election of a person to an office or for the promotion of or opposition to a ballot proposition. Because of McDermott’s bias and working in a pattern and practice with Skagit county auditor, Sandra Perkins and Rich Weyrich, Skagit county prosecuting attorney, both of whom are running for re-election, McDermott is working in concert to shield these two elected officials from prosecution until after the election, November 8, 2022.

McDermott has been accused of other crimes that include:

18 U.S. Code 4 - Misprision of felony, Whoever, having knowledge of the actual commission of a felony cognizable by a court of the United States, conceals and does not as soon as possible make known the same to some judge or other person in civil or military authority under the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both,
RCW 9A.80.010 Misfeasance, malfeasance, acting under color of law, Official misconduct by a public servant,
RCW 29A.84.020- Violations by officers who willfully violated RCW 29A.56.110 through 29A.56.270, willfully fails to comply with the provisions of RCW 29A.56.110 through 29A.56.270 is guilty of a gross misdemeanor…

Don McDermott has also worked in concert with the Skagit County Canvassing board to commit felonious acts compromising our election integrity with Sandra Perkins, Rich Weyrich, Lisa Janicki, Peter Browning and Ron Wesen as outlined by the Washington Secretary of State Report.

 

Don McDermott violated the PUBLIC RECORDS ACT when he deliberately refused to supply the requested information allowed by law to 152 individual Skagit Residents RCW 9.81.020, PUBLIC RECORDS ACT: Subversive activities made felony, RCW 40.16.020 Injury to and misappropriation of record. Every officer who shall mutilate, destroy, CONCEAL, erase, obliterate, or falsify any record or paper appertaining to the officer's office is guilty of a class B felony.

Don McDermott after committing these numerous felonies and misdemeanors would like you to re-elect him as a CRIMINAL sheriff???

Don McDermott has failed to show up to bi-partisan meetings to avoid questions of criminality that have been made public since the 4th of July Parade election review brochure.
Several local and federal cases against the Skagit County officials named in this report are pending as of this date.
