Don McDermott, Skagit County Washington, October 20, 2022.
McDermott has been the sheriff of Skagit county for the past 4 years.
McDermott was sworn in as sheriff swearing an oath to the Skagit County voters that he would uphold the Constitution. He has violated his oath of office. RCW 29A.56.110
The sheriff’s duty (1) Shall arrest and commit to prison all persons who break the peace, or attempt to break it, and all persons guilty of public offenses, Article 11, § 5 of the Washington State Constitution Amendment 12.
Among many events that McDermott refused to act upon was the breaking and entering of a residence that included theft and vandalism, where McDermott’s office colluded with out-of-state parties to facilitate this crime. McDermott, the New Hampshire resident, and the Skagit criminal worked a pattern and practice in concert to perform numerous crimes, 18 U.S.C. §§ 1961-68 RICO- Racketeering, RCW 9A.82.060, RCW 9A.56.030-theft and robbery 1st degree, RCW 9A.48.070- Malicious mischief in the first degree, and violated the Skagit County Resident’s 4th Amendment right that was violated by all 3 criminals.

Because of McDermott’s bias and working in a pattern and practice with Skagit county auditor, Sandra Perkins and Rich Weyrich, Skagit county prosecuting attorney, both of whom are running for re-election, McDermott is working in concert to shield these two elected officials from prosecution until after the election, November 8, 2022.
McDermott has been accused of other crimes that include:
18 U.S. Code 4 – Misprision of felony, Whoever, having knowledge of the actual commission of a felony cognizable by a court of the United States, conceals and does not as soon as possible make known the same to some judge or other person in civil or military authority under the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both,

Don McDermott after committing these numerous felonies and misdemeanors would like you to re-elect him as a CRIMINAL sheriff???
Don McDermott has failed to show up to bi-partisan meetings to avoid questions of criminality that have been made public since the 4th of July Parade election review brochure.
Several local and federal cases against the Skagit County officials named in this report are pending as of this date.
