Derrill Fussell

Derrill Fussell is a longtime Mount Vernon resident and Skagit Valley native. He farmed the Valley for twelve years and rose to General Manager of the largest flower bulb farm in the world. He later served as CEO of a technology company whose work was recognized by the National Security Agency as critical for government use, and held the highest civilian security clearance the United States grants. He has served as a contractor at the White House and the Pacific Naval Command Center. Under the pen name Dr. Qooz, he has authored ten children's books promoting literacy and kindness. After losing his own son, Derrill is running to bring compassion, dignity, and clear communication to every Skagit family the Coroner's office serves.

Cody Hart is a Skagit County family man, a United States Navy veteran, and a licensed professional engineer. He and his wife are raising their three daughters here in Skagit County. Cody brings the discipline of military service, the analytical rigor of engineering, and the values of a devoted father to his campaign for Sheriff. He holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of Washington and an MBA in Finance from Seattle International University. Tim is also the founder of a civic members group dedicated to government accountability, and brings a career built on managing complex financial operations and demanding transparency from public institutions.
